Animals and biomes with Minecraft for beginners in French

Today I am sharing activities that have been hugely successful with my 7-10 year old students. Through games and questions that motivate children to speak, they learn the main landscapes and animals present in Minecraft.

We start by learning the landscapes/biomes with these slides.

To save the images, click on the images and save them one by one:

Then the children are encouraged to answer questions about the biomes:

Then we play a Kim's game (one biome disappears at a time, to be named):

We move on to animals, with questions to make the children use the new words:

We can also watch this video that introduces farm animals in Minecraft.
