Here are some activities about fruits that I created for my beginners in French as a Foreign Language. You'll find the vocabulary with definite and indefinite articles, a Kim's game, activities around smoothies using au/à la/à l', and ideas for more activities (songs, crosswords, recipes).

We start by reading the vocabulary of fruits with the indefinite articles, all as above and in these slides:
or only a reduced number of fruit like in Kim's game:
Let your students find that feminine fruits all end with -e. Convenient!
They can do the crosswords mots croisés des fruits from Clic ma classe.
We can now listen to the song 'J'aime les fruits'. Remind them that we use le/la/l'/les the after "I like". We can then read the vocabulary with the definite articles.
Then, using definite articles, we will talk about our favorite fruits and do an activity around smoothies to learn how to use au/à la/à l':
Here are all the slides:
For a listening exercise, the teacher reads the descriptions and the students must circle the fruits chosen by each child.
Finally, an activity that has been very successful is reading fruit-based recipes and why not, writing our own recipes. I cannot share my slides as the recipes and photos are taken from a book, but if you want to use the beautiful recipes by Marion Eberschweiler, here is the link to her book, Goûters sains pour petits héros. A paper version is also available. The 'gâteau de fruits' is from her other book, Le régime d'abondance.
If you use these resources, leave me a comment here, on Facebook or on Instagram, it would make me very happy!
