Here are some activities I created around the story Le machin by Stéphane Servant and Cécile Bonbon. In this story, the animals take turns guessing what this red 'thing' could be, until an unexpected twist.

Then we can make these fill-in-the-blank texts to tell the story and even add as many animals and clothing ideas as we want to imagine a sequel to the story (2 difficulty levels):
